We will promote the finalists and winner for a full year to our contacts, like Innovative Artists and CAA.

Rules & Terms

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT: 
-Open to all writers & filmmakers of all levels and ages! 
-Anyone under the age of 18 must submit a parental consent form along with the script. -The consent form must be signed, dated & notarized in order for it to be accepted. 
-Competition open to all creative writers with an original script can enter that complies within our rules and regulations. 
-No limit on total earned income as a writer.
Content Requirement: 
“Initial Submission”: To enter the competition, each participant must submit/and or acknowledge the following materials at the site during the submission period for all categories.
Categories: 
-Acknowledgement and acceptance of these Official Rules; and 
-Acknowledgement and declaration that the screenplay submitted is your original work or you own full rights to i.p, otherwise could result in a disqualification. 
-You are submitting the Script voluntarily on a non-confidential basis. 
-You understand if you are under the age of 18, you must include a parental consent form with your parents signature, dated, phone number and notarized (Notarized if possible) with you submission or it will result in a disqualification. 
-You have the right, authority, and capacity to enter into this agreement, and you agree to abide and be bound the terms and conditions herein. 
-Include entry fee for each submission.


FILM CATEGORY:
“Allowed Submissions”:
-Unlimited entries to how many submissions a participant can submit. Each submission must be accompanied with an entry fee. The more submissions you enter, the more chances you have to win. 
-Competition or Sponsor are not responsible for submissions that are incomplete, lost, unintelligible, or misdirected. 
-Once the script is submitted, that is final. No refunds.
SHORT Category: original short script can be in any of the following genres: Action / Adventure, Comedy, Drama, Sci-fi / Fantasy, Thriller /Horror, Animation, etc. ALL GENRES AND SUB GENRES ACCEPTED. 40pages and under.

Script Rights / Original work:
-Scripts must not have been previously produced as a live stage production, theatrical motion picture, television or online program. 
-Participant will inform competition If his or her script is a winner in another competition. Winning Grand Prize in our competition means you cannot have assigned the rights to your script to any other company or individual so it is available to Studios/Sponsor to secure. Competition reserve the right to disqualify the screenplay. 
-If any of the above occurs, and the writer wins the grand prize for either Feature, Tv, Short, or documentary, the competition reserves the right to remove the script from advancing to the next level and no refunds issued. 
-Participant acknowledges that Sponsor and Competition Entities may have motion pictures, television programs, and other creative materials in development or production that include ideas, concepts, plots, characters, settings, and themes similar to participant’s screenplay and the participant will not be entitled to any compensation or right to negotiate with sponsor because of nay such similarities. Nothing in these official Rules or related materials shall create an implied or express contract to compensate participants for their screenplays, except as specifically described in these official rules.
“Script Registration” 
Not necessary.
“Transfer of script rights”
Participants must retain all rights to their Screenplay throughout the Competition, so that if the Participant wins the grand prize for Feature / Tv / Short /Documentary, Participant can assign rights in and to the Screenplay to sponsor/producer to be able to produce the content, free of any limitations, restrictions or third party obligations.
If the winning writer does not own the script submitted, and has optioned the script, or retained permission from the writer to submit his/her script, the writer will be disqualified only if the script cannot be assigned or purchased under the prize/awards terms, entry will be disqualified with no refunds.
